River View Cabins & Canoes is the premier Ouachita River cabin retreat. Our properties are private, quiet, and situated along the river with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and complete. Whether you're looking to relax the weekend away or get out and explore nature, we've got you covered. Our 14 spacious cabins are each uniquely designed to suit a variety of vacation needs.


Our Oden, Arkansas cabins come equipped with modern kitchens, bathrooms, and fireplaces which can be used between November 1st and March 1st of every year. We provide the first order of firewood (10-15 sticks) for free, with additional bundles being $15 each.

Group Reservations

Booking for a large group? We can handle it! Our 52-bed bunkhouse comes complete with a modern kitchen and enough bathrooms and showers to accommodate the whole group! It's the perfect choice for church camps, team builders, and corporate events.


The Hideout Cabin is another great option for large gatherings. It overlooks the beautiful Ouachita River and sleeps up to 24 guests.

River View Cabins & Canoes is a pet-friendly and pet-welcome destination! Each pet is a $40 flat-rate fee per night.


We also offer a Wi-Fi hot spot for $10/day and mountain bike rentals to explore the area for $40/day.

The Ranch House (Sleeps 6)

The Ranch House is a two-story cabin with a great river view! It features a shower/bathtub combo, two full beds in the upstairs loft, and a queen-sized bed in the private bedroom downstairs. The cabin also comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining room, and fresh linens and bedding.

The Sugar Shack (Sleeps 2)

One of our couples cabins, The Sugar Shack has an open floor plan, a large oval Jacuzzi tub, and a queen-sized bed. It also has a stand-up shower in the bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, and comes with fresh linens and towels.

A Little Country (Sleeps 4)

This cabin is small and compact, but really cute and roomy for its size. The bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, and the upstairs loft has a full bed. It has a fully-equipped kitchen and is furnished with fresh linens and towels.

This cabin is cozy and compact with lovely features and a wooded view. The bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, and a small loft upstairs contains two twin beds. The kitchen is fully equipped, and it comes with fresh linens and towels.

Home Sweet Home features a lovely view of the Ouachita River! It has a queen bed in the private bedroom downstairs. In the open loft upstairs, there is another queen bed along with a trundle bed with two twins. It also has two full baths, one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all towels and linens are provided.

This is one of our larger cabins with a lovely, wooded treehouse-like view. It is very secluded and features a private queen bedroom downstairs along with a king bed and a double trundle bed in the upstairs open loft. It also comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms (one on each floor), and fresh towels and linens.

This lovely couples cabin has a queen bed that sits up on a riser. The bathroom features a shower and also a sunken hydrotherapy massage tub with a waterfall spigot and cherry blossom marble tile. Fresh linens and towels are provided.

Whispering Oaks Cottage (Sleeps 11)

This charming extra-large cottage sleeps 11 people. It has two levels, each with its own full bathroom. It features four sleeping accommodations:

  • A private downstairs bedroom with a queen bed
  • Two private downstairs bedrooms with two sets of twin-over-full bunk beds
  • A small nook bed upstairs
  • A private master bedroom upstairs with a king bed and flat-screen TV with satellite

The cabin comes with a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a laundry area with a washer and dryer. The large living room features a 50" flat-screen smart TV with satellite and a rock fireplace. Fresh towels and linens are provided.

The Hideout (Sleeps 24)

This large and secluded three-story cabin sits on the river's edge and features amazing views. Cabin accommodations include:

  • The top floor of the main cabin has a bedroom with a king bed, full bath, and a loft area with a twin-over-full bunk bed
  • The main floor features a private king bedroom with a full bath
  • Downstairs has a private queen bedroom and a full bathroom along with a second room containing a wood-burning stove, sleeper sofa, king bed, and twin-over-full bunk bed
  • There is an additional connected two-story building with a large game room and a loft with custom-built, triple queen-sized bunk beds as well as an additional queen-sized bed

The Bunk House

(Sleeps 52)

Our very large Bunk House is made of two different sections: The back section features 16 sets of bunk beds, and the front section features 12 sets of bunk beds. There are multiple showers and bathrooms to accommodate guests on both sides.


The entire facility is accessible and features a kitchen equipped with cooking essentials, two stoves, two refrigerators, a microwave, and coffee pots. The 40-foot screened-in pavilion contains picnic tables with ceiling fans and lighting.
