Horseback Riding in Arkansas

River View Cabins & Canoes offers an enjoyable nature experience with our seasonal horseback riding. Each ride is guaranteed to deliver the best sights and sounds the Ouachita National Forest offers. Take a custom ride around our lush property, let the kids enjoy a hand-led pony ride, or hop on one of our private routes for a 50 minute ride.


We are committed to offering cozy, modern cabins with horseback riding experiences brought to you by River View Riding Stables. These local and well-cared-for horses provide our guests with unmatched horseback riding opportunities.


Arkansas weather can vary from year to year so our closing date may change depending on temperatures and riding conditions. Please contact us for current availability and season updates. We will plan to reopen for the season on March 1st, weather permitting.

Horseback Riding Rates & Rules


  • Our 45-60 minute ride is $50 per rider.
  • Riders must be seven years of age or older.
  • Hand-led pony rides (6 and under) are $25 per child for a 15-20 minute ride.
  • Spaces fill up fast, so reserve your spot today!
